Samantha Fitzgerald

Since high school, I have been interested in pursuing photography as a career of some kind. I graduated college with thoughts of going into the journalism field but found that it wasn't quite what I was looking for. That led to me job searching for a while and just seeing what was out there. Summer of 2023 I began working at a production company doing photography and social media - and I love it! I wouldn't have guessed that I would want to include social media in my future career but I also wouldn't have it any other way. Combining my photography and communication skills into the social media world just makes sense. In the beginning of 2024, I started a new position at the historic Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville. As the Social Media & Content Manager for the theatre, I am able to continue to combine both passions into one job.
